Komar University student takes first place in Qari Al-Rafidain Qur’anic competition
Bakhtawar Bahaaldin, a pharmacy student of Komar University’s department of pharmacy participated in the 21st round of the annual Qari Al-Rafidain Qur’anic competition and won the first place. The competition was held in Al-Anbar province consisting of different selection stages. The competition consists of two parts; recitation and also memorization of the holy Quran in which Mr. Bakhtawar was a participant. After the finalization process, and among 40 participants who represented different provinces, Mr. Bakhtawar was able to win first place representing Halabja province.
