Dr Ali Yaseen Kurdsat TV Interview

On 19th of April 2019, Dr Ali Yaseen Faculty Member at KUST Pharmacy Department was interviewed byKurdsat TV in regard of Antibiotics uses and the problem encountered with over prescribing and misuse of antibiotics in Kurdistan Region, Iraq. Dr Ali provided a comprehensive review of proper use of antibiotics and the problem associated with resistance to antibiotics, he also explained the reasons of pharmaceutical companies reluctant to develop new antibiotics and the efforts of developed countries government to provide financial support towards developing new antibiotics.
