In addition, pharmacy has excellent earning potential and is consistently ranked as one of the most highly trusted professions due to the care and service pharmacists provide.
Pharmacy Department
Study Plan
One hundred and sixty six (166) credit hours is required for students to graduate from the pharmacy department. The credit hours will be earned by students through taking various courses distributed over five academic years as shown in the Flowchart below. The courses are categorized into three groups namely, University, College, and Department courses, which are color coded on the flowchart. Each course the student takes, will have a specific course code where the three letters of the code indicates if it is a University, College or Department course. The first number following the letters corresponds to the year of study , the second number indicates the number of credit associated with the course. The two final numbers are course code specific and capital letter (C) at the end of the course code indicates that the course has practical part associated with it.
Each student must satisfactorily complete all the indicated courses in the flowchart shown below and satisfy all other university graduation requirements in order to be awarded a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy .
